On Last Friday, Iran’s railway system has come under cyber attack which made the hackers to post fake messages on train delay’s or Cancellation of trains on their display boards.
Iran’s “The Far News” agency has reported it as “Unprecedented Chaos” at Iran’s railway station throughout the country which led to delayed or cancelled messages on hundreds of trains and lost their electronic train tracking system.
As of now, no groups have taken responsibility for this Cyber Attack. Sadegh Sekri, a spokesman for Iran railways has said on Saturday “there has been no disruption or cyber-attack for passenger, cargo or intercity trains”, However , The Fars news agency report had a picture of the stations display boards which said “long delays due to Cyber attack.
